What is the Digital SAT?
The Digital SAT is the College Board's computer-based admissions test: 98 questions over 2 hours and 14 minutes, scored from 400 to 1600. It has two sections — Reading & Writing (54 questions) and Math (44 questions) — each delivered in two modules.
It replaced the paper SAT internationally in March 2023 and in the US in spring 2024. Students in Egypt sit it on the Bluebook app at authorised international and IG schools.
How is the Digital SAT adaptive?
Each section is multistage adaptive: your performance on Module 1 routes you to an easier or harder Module 2. Do well on the first module and the second is harder but unlocks the full score range; the lower-difficulty path caps the attainable section score.
This is the single biggest way the digital test differs from old paper practice. A flat PDF mock cannot reproduce it — which is why Scoremojo's Digital SAT mock genuinely routes Module 2 on Module 1 accuracy, exactly like the real Bluebook engine.
How is the Digital SAT scored?
Each section is scored 200–800 and the two are added for a total of 400–1600. There is no penalty for wrong answers, so you should answer every question.
Because the test is adaptive, your scaled score reflects both how many questions you got right and the difficulty path you earned — not just a raw count.
- Reading & Writing: 200–800
- Math: 200–800
- Total: 400–1600, no wrong-answer penalty
- Scores typically return in about 2 weeks
How should you study for the Digital SAT in Egypt?
Practise full-length, timed, and adaptive — not loose question sets. The skills that move a Digital SAT score are pacing inside each module, the Desmos calculator, and reading the new short-passage Reading & Writing format quickly.
Sit at least one complete adaptive mock before test day, review every miss by topic, and re-practise the two or three weakest domains. Scoremojo auto-scores each mock and breaks mistakes down by topic so the next study block is targeted, not generic.

Digital SAT — frequently asked questions
Is the Digital SAT harder than the paper SAT?
It is shorter (2h14m vs ~3h) and the questions are more concise, but it is adaptive, so a strong start unlocks a harder, higher-scoring second module. Most students find the timing more comfortable once they practise the module structure.
Can I take a free Digital SAT practice test for Egypt?
Yes. Scoremojo offers a free, full-length adaptive Digital SAT Math mock with instant scoring and a per-topic review, built from 100% original questions in the real Bluebook format.
How many times can I take the Digital SAT?
There is no official limit. The SAT is offered internationally on set dates in March, May, June, August, October, November and December; most students sit it two or three times.
What is a good Digital SAT score for university in Egypt?
It depends on the university and major, but 1200+ is competitive for many programmes and 1400+ is strong for selective ones. Check each university's published requirement, as they vary.
