Digital SAT score calculator

Last updated:

Enter your raw correct answers for Reading & Writing (out of 54) and Math (out of 44) to estimate your Digital SAT score on the 400–1600 scale. Each section scales 200–800; because the test is adaptive, this is an estimate with a range, not an official score.

This is an estimate for goal-setting, not an official prediction. The Digital SAT is adaptive and equated per form by College Board, so your real score depends on the difficulty path you earn in Module 2. For an accurate, adaptive score, take a full-length mock.

How does this SAT score calculator work?

Enter how many questions you answered correctly in Reading & Writing (out of 54) and Math (out of 44). The calculator maps each raw count to the 200–800 section scale and adds them for an estimated 400–1600 total, with a range to reflect adaptive uncertainty.

Because there is no wrong-answer penalty on the Digital SAT, your raw score is just your number correct — so always answer every question, even when guessing.

Why is your real Digital SAT score a range, not a single number?

The Digital SAT is adaptive: your Module 1 performance routes you to an easier or harder Module 2, and only the harder path unlocks the full section score. College Board also equates each test form so scores mean the same thing across dates.

That means two students with the same number of correct answers can receive different scaled scores. Any raw-to-scaled calculator is therefore an approximation — useful for setting a target, but not a substitute for a real adaptive mock.

SAT score calculator — FAQ

How accurate is a SAT score calculator?

It is an estimate, not an official prediction. The Digital SAT is adaptive and equated per test form, so the same raw count can scale differently depending on the Module 2 difficulty path. Use a calculator for goal-setting and a full-length adaptive mock for an accurate score.

How is the Digital SAT scored from raw to scaled?

Each section (Reading & Writing, Math) is scaled from 200 to 800 and the two are added for a 400–1600 total. There is no penalty for wrong answers, so your raw score is simply the number of questions you answered correctly in each section.

What is a good Digital SAT score?

It depends on your target universities, but 1200+ is competitive for many programmes and 1400+ is strong for selective ones. Check each university's published requirement, as they vary.

How many questions are on the Digital SAT?

98 scored questions: 54 in Reading & Writing and 44 in Math, taken over 2 hours 14 minutes.
