Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run Scoremojo — your account details, your exam responses, and your scores — store it securely in the EU, never sell it, and delete it on request.

1. Overview

This policy explains what {LEGAL_NAME} ("Scoremojo") collects when you use the platform, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. We aim to collect the minimum needed to deliver a good exam-prep experience.

2. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and — if you provide it — your phone number and the exam track you're preparing for.

Learning data: your answers to practice questions, your mock submissions, your scores, and the analytics we derive from them (for example, per-topic accuracy).

Technical data: basic device and usage information (such as pages viewed and approximate performance), used to keep the service secure and fast.

3. How we use it

We use your data to deliver the service: to run and score your mocks, show your analytics and progress, manage your subscription, process payments, keep the platform secure, and send you essential account and support messages.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your exam responses to train anyone else's products.

4. Who processes data for us

We rely on a small set of trusted providers who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:

  • Supabase — our database and authentication, hosted in the European Union (eu-central-1, Frankfurt).
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery, plus privacy-conscious (cookieless) usage analytics.
  • Paymob — payment processing. Card details are entered on Paymob's secure checkout; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Google Analytics — where enabled, aggregate traffic and usage measurement (including approximate location and how you reached us) via cookies. Used to improve the service, not for advertising.
  • Our email provider — to send transactional messages such as sign-in and account emails.
  • Google Sign-In — only if you choose to sign in with your Google account.

5. Where your data is stored

Your account and learning data are stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, eu-central-1). Some providers may process limited technical data in other regions to deliver the service globally.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time by emailing {LEGAL_EMAIL} — we'll action it promptly, subject to any records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email {LEGAL_EMAIL} from the address on your account, or use the contact page.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure, and analytics cookies (including Google Analytics, where enabled) to understand aggregate usage and performance. We don't use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we don't sell your data.

9. Younger students

Scoremojo is built for exam-prep students, many of whom are in secondary school. If you are under 18, please use Scoremojo with a parent or guardian's consent.

10. Contact

For any privacy question or request, email {LEGAL_EMAIL}. The data controller is {LEGAL_NAME}, {LEGAL_ADDRESS}.
