The EST I has a Literacy section and a Math section. Literacy is split into three modules; Math is a single section. An essay is available as an optional extra.
How much time per question?
Literacy works out to about 64 seconds per question, and Math to 90 seconds per question. Practise full sections under that clock, not just single questions.
How should you prepare for the format?
- Take one released EST I paper as a baseline.
- Drill your weakest Literacy and Math topics for several weeks.
- Finish with full timed papers so the 2 h 45 length feels normal.
On ScoremojoSix full EST I tests: the January, March and May 2026 released papers, plus three older sittings labelled "Adapted to 2026".
